Mannog Just in Time (Robert) AT LAST getting loads of white spots - took his time but worth it in the end.

Picture supplied by Paul Makin/Maureen Vince who took him to the APHC UK Northern Show in July 2012.  They did well and hopefully may take him to the national show.

(see separate northern show news item)

Sire: Mannog Moonriver.    Dam : Moonlight Serenade

(Mannog Just in Time and Mannog Rock DJ are full brothers - but no spots on Rocky!)

We had a  busy weekend on Saturday 28th July and Sunday 29th July supporting shows and classes put on specifically for either Appaloosas or Foreign Breeds - and as I had personally been instrumental in getting these classes opened in the first place we had a duty to attend - and anyway it was not raining!

Leek and District Agricultural Society show : Sat. 28th July.

2nd Open Foreign Breeds Class.(5) Mannog April Blues.

5th                                       Mannog All That Jazz

1st Appaloosa class 4 yrs  + (3)     Mannog April Blues

3rd                                       Mannog All That Jazz

Aintree National Showing weekend. Sun. 29th July

1st Open Foreign Breeds   (3)     Mannog Zips Rio Grande

Judge highly complimentary on Rio and his fantastic movement - Richard could not run fast enough!

It would have been nicer to have had more forward but perhaps you can all put these dates in your calendar for 2013.

You take your risks with the foreign breeds classes  as you will come against all sorts - we find usually warmbloods, Lusitano and Andalusian and American Miniatures - but it gets our Appaloosas out there.
